Suratkal: Child’s obscene video made viral; case registered

Suratkal: Suratkal Police officials have registered a case against a man for circulating obscene videos of a child on social media.
The accused has been identified as Chittaranjan Shetty.
A suo moto case was registered based on an application sent through the Centre’s CyberTip Portal.
CyberTipline is the nation’s centralized reporting system for the online exploitation of children. The public and electronic service providers can make reports of suspected online enticement of children for sexual acts, child sexual molestation etc on the internet, police said.
