KSDA gets authority to issue certificates to ITI diploma courses: Min Dr Ashwath Narayan

Bengaluru: The State Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan has said that students enrolled in diploma courses in any of the 150 ITIs upgraded in collaboration with Tata Technologies Limited would be receiving certificates directly from the Karnataka Skill Development Authority (KSDA).
Addressing the media on Monday he said, “Earlier there were confusions regarding authority issuing the certificates to the diploma students who enroll to three months or six months courses. Now that the Karnataka Skill Development Authority and National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) have signed an MoU, the issue is resolved”.
“Students enrolling in diploma courses such as Junior Product Designer, Junior Robot Operator, Fundamental of Innovation and Technology and several others will be benefitted”, he added.
Meanwhile, on Monday MD of KSDA Ashwin Gowda and Director of NCVET Col Santosh Kumar jointly signed the MoU.
