Puttur: Class 9 student dies after falling off residential complex

Puttur: A class 9 student died after falling off a residential complex in Boluvaru here.

The deceased, identified as Sushan Rai, passed away at a hospital on August 6 due to the severe injuries suffered due to the fall.

Sushan, a student at the Sudana Residential School, reportedly, went to the residential building after school instead of returning home on Friday, August 5. A while later, he was found lying on the ground, seriously injured.

The CCTV captured him entering the residential complex at 4.20 pm. A few minutes after this, he fell off the building. His school bag was found on the 5th floor of the building.

Sushan is survived by his father Manohar Rai, a retired bank manager, mother Sudha M Rai and a brother Sohan Rai.
