Bengaluru: Countering the statement “CM Bommai is RSS slave” made by the former chief minister and veteran Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Karnataka BJP State General Secretary and legislator Ravikumar has called the former CM a “puppet” of Sonia Gandhi.

As per an ANI report, Ravikumar on Tuesday, August 15 said that Siddaramaiah was a “puppet” of Indian National Congress (INC) president Sonia Gandhi. He said that he acted as per the wish and command of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

On dropping Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s photo from the government advertisement he reacted that it was ‘deliberate’. He held Pandit Nehru to be responsible for the partition.

“Gandhiji had said that Congress should be dissolved after independence. But it was Nehru who did not do so. He did not adhere to what Gandhiji said and went ahead with the partition. Hence, we have intentionally dropped his portrait in the government ad”, ANI quoted him as saying.

It can be recalled that Siddaramaiah had lambasted at the state BJP government and especially Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for dropping Nehru’s image from the government ad. He had made a series of tweets and termed CM Bommai to be an “RSS slave”.
