Hakay Akshay Machindra appointed SP of Udupi

Udupi: Hakay Akshay Machindra has been appointed the next superintendent of police.

Current SP of Udupi N Vishuvardhan has been transferred to a new assignment as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence, Bengaluru.

State government issued a transfer order to this effect on Tuesday, August 16.

An IPS officer of the 2015 batch, Hakay Akshay Machindra is currently serving as SP of Chikkamagaluru.

On January 1, 2020, Machindra was appointed as SP of Udupi. However within a day of issuing the order, the government revised its decision and appointed N Vishnuvardhan for the post.
