This heartwarming clip about the rescue and reunion of an elephant calf will surely brighten your day. “This is what satisfaction looks like,” captioned Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan who shared the video on Twitter.

The IFS officer also explained the story behind the rescue, in the thread that followed.

According to the officer, at 8 am on Thursday morning, his team was informed about an elephant calf who was found alone in an agriculture field. The calf had separated from the herd, he said.

The forest department rescued the calf from the crowd, cleaned it up, and gave a medical examination.  The team searched for the herd and found it about 5 km from where the calf was found.

The elephant calf was then reunited with its herd. “To satisfaction of all herd came and took the calf in family and just vanished. By evening all went well,” the officer wrote in the continuing thread.
