Bengaluru: Karnataka Youth Congress president Mohammed Haris has warned the BJP of a protest in the state if they do not apologize for the ‘egg attack’ on the former chief minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah’s convoy.

He said this taking to Facebook against the BJP workers who threw eggs at Siddaramaiah’s convoy, during his Kodagu visit.

In the Facebook Live video, he said, “We will see to that the BJP has no land to stay in the state. We will protest throughout the state and deliver eggs to the BJP leaders. We will defeat them with ‘Ahimsa Tatva’ taught by Gandhiji. The RSS has only begged pardons throughout their life.”

Warning the BJP, he said, “The Congress party or Siddaramaiah will not fear for ‘egg attack’. Before our protest turns fierce, the BJP national president must apologize”.

Meanwhile, he also said, “We are not born to Shashikala Jolle. We follow the footsteps of Gandhiji”. This statement has now sparked controversy.
