Incessant rain damages houses, property in coastal K’taka; Yellow alert issued

Mangaluru: Heavy rains continue to disrupt normal life in coastal areas of Karnataka, causing damage to life and properties in the affected areas.
Due to the downpour, rivers have swollen, inundating agricultural fields and low-lying areas.
Also, Puttur, Uppinangady, Kadaba, Subrahmanya, Sullia, Jaluru, Kalmakaru, Ainekidu, Harihara Pallattadka, Dharmasthala, Naravi, Madantyaru, Belthangady, Bantwal, Kanyana, Suratkal, Ullal, Mudubidri and Bajpe received good rainfall.
Yellow alert has been sounded in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
