Ullal: Bus suffers brake failure, rams car, no casualties

Ullal: Private bus named Yen Yes Travels suffered brake failure on Sunday, August 28, eventually ramming into a car.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

The bus with 21 passengers on board was supposed to reach the Tokkatu bus stand. While reaching close to the destination, the bus suffered brake failure. Alerted by this, the driver steered the bus at the Tokkatu Junction. At this point in time, the bus rammed into a car that was travelling from Ullal to Mudipu.

Mudipu resident Mohammed and his relative who were in the car narrowly escaped the impact without injuries.

However, a portion of the car was completely damaged.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the Jeppu Traffic Police Station.
