Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that the foundation stone for the Raichur Airport would be laid by next month.
Addressing the media on Saturday, August 27, he said that as the exodus of the people from the Raichur district was very high, the maximum focus would be given to employment and irrigation.
As per reports of ANI, CM Bommai said that the district needed irrigation as well as employment opportunities. He said that the jobs would be provided in the garments industry to the people of the Ballari, Raichur, and Kalaburagi districts.
He stated that soon a textile park would be established at Kalaburagi and Raichur under the state programme.
