Gadkari to attend Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s 106th birth anniversary celebrations in Jaipur

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will attend the 106th birth anniversary celebrations of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay here on September 25, officials said on Thursday.

Gadkari will be the chief guest at the event being organised at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Memorial at Dhankya Railway Station in the city.

The Union minister will take part in the celebration at 4 pm. He will be joined by industrialist and social worker Vinay Chordia, Manipur deputy chief minister T Chahoba Singh, and memorial committee chairman Mohan Lal Chipa.

The theme of the function will be — ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay: A Personality Dedicated to Service’, officials said.

A book on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Memorial, Dhankya that has been edited by the committee will be released on the occasion, they said.
