Vijayapuru: BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Tuesday, September 27 said that the main reason behind the growth of PFI is the Congress government and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
“Congress government’s rule had led to the growth of anti-national parties, while our government is getting rid of them,” Nalin said.
A number of office-bearers and members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) were taken into custody from across Karnataka, after raids at their offices and residences, police sources said on Tuesday.
The crackdown came close on the heels of raids by the National Investigation Agency in different parts of the country including Karnataka last week.
Further, reacting to the ‘PayCM’ campaign Nalin said, “Siddaramaiah is a payment CM. He became the Chief Minister of the state after paying money.”
The Congress launched the PayCM campaign and started putting up posters on public walls in various parts of the State accusing the present dispensation of indulging in corruption. The ruling BJP, too, is mulling over a tech-based offensive against the Congress, sources in the saffron party said
