Mangaluru: PFI offices searched, sealed by cops

Mangaluru: Following the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and Campus Front of India (CFI), the State police searched and sealed all their offices in the city.

Around 10 PFI offices,1 CFI office, and 1 information and empowerment office belonging to the organizations were sealed.

The offices located at Kasaba Bengre, Chokkabettu, Katipalla, Adoor, Kinnipadav, K C Road, Inoli, Mallur, Nellikai road, Kudroli, Azizuddin Road Bunder and Rao and Rao Circle were raided by the police.

Union Ministry of Home Affairs had delegated to the State government the implementation of the ban. The state government has in turn authorized Deputy Commissioners and Commissioners of police to implement the ban.
