Rishab Shetty’s Kantara all set to break records?

Bengaluru: Actor-director Rishab Shetty’s much-anticipated film, Kantara hit the screens on Friday, September 30. The film received an overwhelming response on day one and is expected to do well at the box office.

Kantara was released in over 250 theatres across Karnataka, and will simultaneously open in the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Australia among other places globally.

Reportedly, Kantara closed the opening day with Rs. 3.5 crores in terms of net collections and is now looking solid to leverage the ultra-positive reception over the first weekend.

Rishab Shetty performing the Bhoota Kola and taking part in the Kambala is said to be the main highlight of the movie.

The Twitterati are awed by Rishab’s master story-telling, acting, visuals, and music and are predicting that his movie may join the 100 crore club soon.

The movie has also received appreciation from the sandalwood family.
