Davangere: An elderly man killed his wife for not cooking tasty food in Ramakrishna Hegde nagara, Davangere on Sunday night.
The accused has been identified as Chaman Saab (80). He allegedly killed his wife Shaakira Bi (70) by slitting her throat with a knife.
It is said that there were frequent quarrels between the husband and wife over food and other issues.
On Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi, the couple got into a fight and Chaman Saab killed his wife Shaakira.
Investigations are underway.
