Bengaluru: The world’s largest passenger aircraft, Airbus A380, touched down at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on October 14. This is the first time the jumbo jet has made a landing at the airport.
The Airbus A380, owned and operated by Emirates Airlines, was originally scheduled to make the journey on October 30. However, to the delight of the enthusiasts, the flight was rescheduled for today.
At 10:11 am, flight EK562 departed from Dubai Airport. After a 1,701-mile flight that lasted 3 hours and 52 minutes, the aircraft landed at Bengaluru Airport.
The official handle of Kempegowda International Airport posted the video of the jumbo jet’s maiden landing at the airport. The caption for the clip read: “Now that’s how you make an entrance! @emirates A380, the largest passenger airliner in the world has just touched down at #BLRAirport.”
