Kantara surpasses KGF on IMDb ratings!

Bengaluru: Continuing its winning streak, Rishab Shetty-starrer ‘Kantara’ has surpassed KGF on IMDb ratings and has got a rating of 9.5 out of 10.
Currently, KGF Part 1 has gotten an IMDb rating of 8.2, KGF: Part 2 has an 8.4 rating, and Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie has a rating of 9.0.
The film has some rave reviews on IMDb, the largest, most comprehensive movie database on the web. “Epitome of acting! Chilling experience!” one user wrote. “Went in for the hype, came out with GOOSEBUMPS,” wrote another. “I am left speechless after watching epic cinematography and storytelling backed by wonderful performances & background score.”
The movie’s mesmerizing depiction of the local culture of coastal Karnataka including Kambala and Bhoota Kola has enraptured the audience. Moreover, Rishab’s powerful performance as the protagonist ‘Shiva’ has received critical acclaim.
Hombale Films released Kantara only in Kannada on September 30, has created a new milestone in the Kannada film industry. With the huge demand from fans, the movie has been dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The Hindi version hit the silver screen on October 14.
