Puttur: Interstate thief arrested; Goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh recovered

Puttur: Police officials have arrested an interstate thief and recovered goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh from his possession.
The arrested accused has been identified as Muhammad K.U(42), a resident of Varambil, Alakodu village, Kannur district.
Police have seized goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh including gold jewelry and a motorcycle from the accused.
It is said that he committed thefts in various places including Konaje, Vittal, Bantwal and Punjalkatte areas.
More than 120 theft cases have been registered against him in Kerala.
