Chamrajnagar: A video of V Somanna slapping a woman in the title deed distribution programme for beneficiaries of rural areas has gone viral on the social media platform.

In a shocking incident that took place on the evening of Saturday, October 22 at Hangala of Gundlupet taluk, the state housing, infrastructure and district in-charge minister V Somanna slapped a woman in the title deed distribution programme for beneficiaries of rural areas.

The incident took place when some women tried to gherao the minister accusing discrimination in the selection of beneficiaries.

The gheraoed women alleged that the sites are allotted to those who already hold government land and injustice is meted to them.

The shows the minister, in a fit of rage, slapping a woman.
