Bantwal: Woman attacked by swarm of wasps succumbs to injuries

Bantwal: A woman who was stung by wasps two days ago succumbed to injuries at the hospital where she was undergoing treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Meenakshi, a daily wager.
The incident took place two days ago when she was collecting dry wooden sticks on a road. A swarm of wasps in the wood she collected reportedly stung her.
She was then rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte. However, she died after she stopped responding to the treatment.
Bantwal Rural Police have registered a case in this regard.
