Sullia: A man was seriously injured after he allegedly shot himself with a pistol on Monday, October 24.
The injured has been identified as Keshav Prabhu, a resident of Jattipalla in SUllia. He is the husband of Shanti Prabhu, a former vice president of Sullia City Panchayat.
According to sources, the incident occurred at the residence of Keshav. Meanwhile, Keshav has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru for treatment of head injuries sustained.
The local police visited the spot and took up the investigation.
