Shivamogga: The locals have alleged that on Monday, October 24 night some miscreants had brandished swords in front of late Hindu activist Harsha’s residence.

As per the information provided by locals to the police, miscreants had stopped at Harsha’s residence and brandished swords. The miscreants had also allegedly threatened Harsha’s family.

At this point in time, when the locals began gathering near Harsha’s residence, the miscreants began pelting stones, in which a person was reportedly injured.

It is learned about three days back a case was registered against Harsha’s sister Ashwini for allegedly damaging a car belonging to a person from another community.

The locals believe that the act by miscreants near Harsha’s residence on Monday night was in retaliation to the case.

Meanwhile, a case is registered at Doddapete Police Station.
