Solar Eclipse: Twin districts of Costal K’taka gear up for astronomical event

Mangaluru/Udupi: Due to the solar eclipse on Tuesday, October 25, the timings of Darshan in temples of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district are revised.

As the solar eclipse is set to take place from 5:08 PM to 6:06 PM on Tuesday, several temples including Sri Kshetra Kateel, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, Sri Kshetra Kukke, Sri Mangaladevi Temple, Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple, Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt, Mandarti Durgaparameshwari Temple will be performing rituals according to revised timings.

To view the astronomical event, Pilikula Regional Science Centre has made arrangements at Panambur Beach, and Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers Club has arranged in Malpe Beach.

Meanwhile, the press statement of Pilikula Regional Science Centre read that the solar eclipse beginning at 5:08 PM on Tuesday will end at 6:28 PM.
