Hassan: The famous Hassanamba Jatra Mahotsav of Sri Hassanamba Temple ended on Thursday, October 27, as the temple doors of the sanctum sanctorum closed at an auspicious muhurtham of 12:47 PM, after performing rituals and offering puja.
During the closure, District In-charge Minister K Gopalaiah, legislator Preetham Gowda, Deputy Commissioner Archana, Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar, and representatives of the temple administration were present.
This year, the temple was kept open for 15 days starting from October 13 to 27. However, the devotees were allowed to get the Darshan of Goddess Hassanamba only for 13 days as on the first day, last day, and solar eclipse day on October 25, the entry was restricted.
