Puttur: Man arrested for posting ‘defamatory’ content against KPCC women gen secy

Puttur: Police officials on Saturday arrested a man for allegedly posting defamatory content on his social media handle against Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary Veena P Bhatt.

The accused has been identified as Bhaskar Maniyani.

It is said that the accused posted a defamatory comment against Veena on Facebook. She lodged a complaint against the accused at Puttur Women’s Police Station.

Following this, the accused was arrested and the comment was also deleted.
