Shivamogga: Two killed during annual bull race

Shivamogga: In a tragic incident, two people in two different villages were gored to death during the Hori Habba bull race.

The deceased have been identified as Prashanth (36) and Adi (20).

Reportedly, Prashanth died during Hori Habba in Gaama village in Shikaripura on Saturday, while Adi died in Jade village in Soraba taluk.

Bull racing is a popular event that is organized after the festival of Diwali, and hosted as part of Hori Habba.

According to Shivamogga SP Mithun Kumar GK, the police had no information about both incidents as the organisers had not taken permission to host the bull races.
