Bengaluru: ‘Pavitra Mannu’ campaign held at memorial of Kempegowda’s daughter-in-law

Bengaluru: The “Pavitra Mannu” (sacred soil) campaign for the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda’s “Statue of Prosperity” and Kempegowda Theme Park at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) was held at Kempegowda’s daughter-in-law Lakshmidevi’s memorial, on Monday, October 31.
The memorial is located at the 8th Block of Koramangala.
State Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Bengaluru South MP Tejaswi Surya, and several other BJP leaders offered puja to the memorial and collected the soil.
Thousands of people gathered during the procession from Ejipura Bus Station to the memorial.
Several cultural teams participated in the procession.
Meanwhile, the Kempegowda statue at BTM Layout was garlanded and puja was offered in several temples along the way.
