Accused on the way to prison jumps off bus, police spoil escape bid

Bantwal: The police nabbed the accused who jumped off the KSRTC bus while the police were transporting him to prison.
The accused is Girish alias Giridhar, a resident of Kalli.
Girish who was wanted in a theft case of 2003 had been produced to the court and was on the way to the prison in a KSRTC bus. When the bus reached Brahmarakotlu toll gate tried to push the policemen on duty and jump from the vehicle and escape.
However, with the help of the passengers and locals the police nabbed him successfully.
