Lunar eclipse: Revised Darshan timings at Sri Kshetra Horanadu, Sringeri Temple on Nov 8

Chikkamagaluru: The Darshan timings of Sri Kshetra Hornadu Annapoorneshwari Temple and Sringeri Temple are revised due to the lunar eclipse to be observed on Tuesday, November 8.

The prasadam will be served to devotees from 11 AM to 12 PM at Sri Kshetra Horandu. After 12 PM prasadam will not be served. At 1:30 PM ‘Mahamangala Aarti’ and till 4 PM ‘Archana’ will be performed.

Puja and ‘Shuddhi’ (cleansing process) will be carried out after the eclipse ends.

From the time the eclipse begins and ends, ‘Abhishekam’ will be performed to Goddess Annapoorneshwari.

However, in Sringeri Temple, the Darshan will be as usual, but prasadam will not be served to the devotees.

After the eclipse, the puja will be performed and prasadam will be distributed to the devotees.
