Bantwal: An incident of a youth being allegedly burnt, and the body thrown from the hilltop of Muloorupadavu in the Vittal Police Station jurisdiction has come to light.
The deceased person is identified as Abdul Samad, a resident of Bolanthoor village.
The person alleged of killing is identified as Abdul Rahiman from the same village.
Although, after a day-long search operation to recover the body of Samad was carried out on Tuesday, November 8, the operations came to a halt as it turned dark.
The search operation will be resuming tomorrow (November 9).
Meanwhile, the family of Samad has already registered a missing complaint with the Vittal Police.
Based on this, the Bantwal Rural and Vittal Police are jointly carrying out the investigation.
