Human trafficking can be eradicated by being organized and aware: M’luru University VC

Mangaluru: Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, PS Yadapadithaya said that enforcement of law, civic sense, and moral responsibility were the key factors controlling human trafficking.
Addressing the gathering during the inauguration of the first Anti Human Trafficking Club (AHTC) of Mangalore University and workshop under the title, “Human Trafficking: Concerns and Strategies “at the University College in Hampankatta he said that our conscience can protect us more than any law and it cannot be cheated.
He opined that such social evil can be eradicated only by being organized and having sufficient awareness.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mangalore North Sub-Division S Mahesh Kumar gave a call to people to join hands with the police to bring human trafficking under control.
Meanwhile, a special lecture was delivered by Prathima M, head of International Justice Mission Strategic Engagement.
