Gold worth Rs 2.01 Cr seized from four passengers at MIA

Mangaluru: Customs officers at the Mangalore International Airport seized smuggled gold worth a whopping Rs 2.01 Crore from four passengers on November 11.
Officials of Airport Customs apprehended the 4 men who had arrived from Dubai.
Search found that rhodium-coated gold strips weighing 3.895 kgs worth Rs 2,01,37,250 were concealed in their trolley bags.
Further investigation is underway.
