Kaup: 65-year-old suffers severe injuries in car-scooty collision

Kaup: In a car-scooty collision near a community hall at Koppalangadi on Monday, November 14 noon, the rider suffered major injuries.
Farooq (65), a resident of Kotalakatte of Kaup is the injured person.
The accident took place when Farooq was on his way back from the mosque located on NH 66, Koppalangadi. The car had rammed into his scooter, due to which he sustained severe injuries.
He was later shifted to a hospital at Udupi.
Meanwhile, the Kaup Police visited the spot and assessed the situation.
Details on Farooq’s condition are yet to be ascertained.
