Ullal: Union Minister Shripad Naik assures of including Kambala under tourism

Ullal: MoS for Tourism and Ports Shripad Yesso Naik said that he would try his best to include Coastal Karnataka’s folk sport “Kambala” as a part of tourism.

He spoke about it after inspecting the work of Kambala field at Morla Bola and briefing on the same by Mangaluru Constituency legislator UT Khader

The minister said, “It is the need of the time to include Kambala sport as a part of tourism. I will look into it as per the briefing and a report given to me by legislator Khader”.

Khader said, “We have planned to transform this place into a tourist destination and with the Kambala field coming up, we have decided to have a Tulu village. Inclusion of Kambala under the tourism department will help in sanctioning of funds too”.
