Bengaluru: Min R Ashok’s two-day village-stay programme on Nov 19

Bengaluru: State Revenue Minister R Ashok will be on a village stay programme under the initiative “Jillaadhikari Nade Halli Kade” on November 19 and 20 at Kenchanahalli village, a forest area under the Nagarahole National Park.
He will be staying at the Swami Vivekananda Girijana Ashrama School.
During his stay, Ashok will be adhering to the issues of revenue land and will be personally inspecting it.
Several forest-related issues faced by the people living there will also be addressed.
He will also be inspecting and addressing the issues faced by tribal children.
The forest area homes people from Jenu Kuruba, Erava/Yerava communities.
Meanwhile, the ‘Pauthi Khatha’ campaign will also be initiated.
To date, under the initiative, around 3 lakh people have benefited.
Meanwhile, Ashok will be participating in the cultural programme with school children and will be having food with them.
