Mangaluru: Blast in auto; NIA team reaches explosion site

Mangaluru:  A 5-member team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrived in Mangaluru to probe the auto-rickshaw blast in the city.

The team has conducted a spot inspection and also closely examined the auto-rickshaw.

NIA is likely to question the autorickshaw driver and the passenger who suffered injuries in the blast.

The blast occurred on Saturday evening inside an autorickshaw, near a police station, leaving the passenger and the driver injured. Both have been admitted to the hospital.
