Kamal Haasan hospitalised: reports

Actor Kamal Haasan, was admitted to a Chennai hospital on Wednesday night. According to The Hindu, Haasan was admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) for a routine checkup.

The actor, who is also the leader of political party the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), was admitted to the hospital after a routine check-up and would be released today, i.e November 24, Indian Express reported quoting sources.

The hospital has not issued an official announcement so far.

According to reports, Kamal Haasan visited Hyderabad before travelling to Chennai for his checkup.
