Bengaluru: Three persons, including a woman, who allegedly pushed job aspirants into prostitution, were arrested by Cottonpet police.

The accused have been identified as Archana (37), a resident of Nagashettihalli in Sanjaynagar, Raghavendra (30) of Davangere district, and Manjunath (33) of Tumkur.

Four women were rescued in the operation, police said.

Among the accused, Archana ran a nursing center in Sanjaynagar. Some nursing students at the center were lured by the accused into prostitution, they added.

The explosive information came to light after the police raided Gandharva Deluxe Lodge in KV Temple Street, Balepet under Cottonpet Police Station based on a tip-off.
