Bengaluru: 3 arrested for taking bank loan on fake gold

Bengaluru: Three persons including a BJP corporator’s son have been arrested by the police for producing fake gold and taking a loan from a bank.
The arrested are Dhathatreya Balake alias Yash (28), Arun Raju Kanade (30) and Satyananda alias Satya.
The police have seized 1475.640 fake gold from the arrested.
The arrested persons used 15 kgs of fake gold and availed crores of gold loans from nationalized banks across the state.
They used to spend money on casinos and other gambling activities.
