21-yo old man jumps out of moving police jeep, dies

Bengaluru: A youth was killed after he allegedly jumped from a moving police vehicle on Maddur-Yeriyru national highway in Yelandur taluk of Chamarajanagar.

The deceased has been identified as Ningaraju, a resident of Kunthuru Mole in Kollegal taluk.

An abduction case had been filed against Ningaraju a few days ago. Based on the complaint the police detained Nagaraju after tracing him and the girl in Chamarajanagar.

When the police were taking him to Mamballi for questioning he jumped from a moving vehicle sustained head injuries.

He was soon shifted to Yelandur hospital, however, he failed to respond to treatment and died.
