Kushtagi: A mass marriage event “Sarva Dharma Vivaha Mahotsav” event was organized on Wednesday, November 30 by the president of Bhagat Singh Samskruthika Krida Samasthe and Banni Mahakaali Seva Samiti Wazir Gonala, in which around 30 couple tied knots.

The event was organized at Bannikatte Santhe Maidan according to the Hindu rituals.

Sri Karibasava Shivaacharya of Kushtagi Maddneshwara Mutt performed the rituals.

Addressing the gathering the seer said, “Mass marriages should be organized on a large scale which will help the people coming from economically weaker sections of the society. In the times when the mass marriage events are drastically decreasing, Wazir has come forward to help the couples coming from economically weaker sections of the society to get married in a grand manner.”

“Wazir has been organizing this event at a personal level. Hence the government and the society at large should extend support to his noble cause”, he added.

Legislator Amaregouda Patil Bayyapura, ADGP, Grievances and Human Rights, K. Ramachandra Rao, and others were present.
