South Indian movie producer K Muralidharan no more

Well-known movie producer of the Southern film industry K Muralidharan has passed away. He reportedly breathed his last in his hometown in Tamil Nadu’s Kumbakonam due to a heart attack.
Muralidharan teamed up with the late V Swaminathan and G Venugopal, to start Lakshmi Movie Makers, a production house that brought out hit movies like Anbe Sivam, Bagavathi, and Pudhupettai.
Muralidharan was formerly the president of the Tamil Producers’ Council.
Movie star Kamal Haasan wrote a heartfelt message on the passing of K Muralidharan. In a Tweet in Tamil, Haasan wrote: “Producer K from Lakshmi Movie Makers who produced many hits is no more. Dear Shiva, I remember those days. Tribute to him(sic).”
