Kalaburagi: JD(S) State President, C M Ibrahim has reacted to the row of separate institutions for Muslim students.

Speaking to the media on Friday, December 2, at the Kalaburagi Airport, he said, “The government shall see to that the education is imparted irrespective of the religion. Is it possible to have separate schools for Hindus and Muslims? The decision of the Waqf Board is incorrect. I feel the decision of the Waqf Board is backed by the state government. This is not a good idea. This will make way for two separate systems in the state and will deprive the right to education to certain sections of the society.”

“If we come to power, we will establish colleges that are open to all and will help the economically weaker sections of society. Each hobli will have a college”, he added.
