Bengaluru: One of the promising batsmen of the Indian cricket team who also plays for Karnataka in the domestic format, Karun Nair has asked for ‘one more chance’ to revive his cricketing career.
Taking to Twitter, he tweeted, “Dear cricket, give me one more chance.”
Dear cricket, give me one more chance.🤞🏽
— Karun Nair (@karun126) December 10, 2022
Nair is few among those Indian batsmen precisely, the second Indian batsman after Virendra Sehwag to have scored a triple century in the test cricket format.
In just the third test match of his career in the year 2016, he scored an unbeaten 303 runs with 32 fours and four sixes taking India to victory against England at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
However, he did not get a chance to prove his skills and in the year 2018, he made a comeback.
Later, he was out of the Indian squad due to unknown reasons.
Nair also played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022 edition. But he could not manage to cast a spell with his performance as he could only score 16 runs with the top score being 13. His average was eight.
