Bengaluru: As the 2023 Karnataka Assembly polls are fast approaching, the Karnataka Congress has begun chalking out election strategies in order to grab maximum votes and bring the party to power.

For this, the party has decided to begin “Bus Yatra” on January 3, next year.

Former chief minister Siddaramaiah will be flagging off the campaign from Basavakalyan of Bidar district.

Reports suggest that KPCC president D K Shivakumar and Siddarmaiah will be jointly leading the campaign, by putting an end to rumours of a ‘cold war’ between the two leaders.

While Siddarmaiah will be leading the campaign from North Karnataka, DKShi will be handling the South Karnataka region.

It is learned that the members of the two teams will be decided in the meeting called by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, today (Monday, December 12) in Delhi.
