Bengaluru man orders groceries worth Rs 16.6 lakh from Swiggy instamart

Bengaluru: Swiggy India revealed that a user from Bengaluru ordered groceries worth Rs 16.6 lakh on Instamart.

The information was revealed in its annual report, How India Swiggy’d 2022.

The annual report also stated that a user from Bengaluru made a single order totaling Rs 75,378 during Diwali. Another user from Pune ordered burgers and fries for his team with a bill value of Rs 71,229.

For the seventh consecutive year, biryani was the food that Swiggy users ordered the most. Followed by Masala Dosa, Chicken Fried Rice, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Naan, Veg Fried Rice, Veg Biryani and Tandoori Chicken.

Also, the fastest order delivered by Instamart took 1.03 minutes to complete to a customer who was only 50 metres away in Bengaluru.

Over 50 lakh kgs of organic fruits and vegetables including watermelons, bananas and tomatoes were ordered on Swiggy this year.

The cities receiving the most delivery of chicken meat were Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
