‘Kantara’ crosses Rs. 400 cr mark: Here’s how much actors got paid

Bengaluru: The “Divine Blockbuster” pan-India movie “Kantara” which is a Rs. 16 crore budget movie has successfully crossed the box office collection of well over Rs. 400 crores worldwide.

As the movie produced under the Hombale Films banner smashes records of “Baahubali 2”, “KGF 2” etc, people are now curious to know the remuneration that the actors have received.

According to the News18 web report actor Kishore (Forest Officer Murali in the movie) has received Rs. 1 crore.

Similarly, actor Pramod Shetty (Sudhakara) – Rs. 60 lakhs, Achyuth Kumar (Devendra Suttooru/Dani) – Rs. 40 lakhs, actress Sapthami Gowda (Leela) – Rs. 1 crore, actor/director Rishab Shetty (Shiva) – Rs. 4 crores.

Recently, the movie was included in the IMDb list of ‘India’s Top 10 most popular movies’ segment.
