Bajpe: One arrested with MDMA

Bajpe:  Police officials arrested a person allegedly found in possession of 1.21 gms of the premium party drug MDMA in Shanthigudde, Bajpe.

The arrested accused has been identified as  Sahil Ismail (28), a resident of Krishnapur, Suratkal. Another accused, Yasir is absconding.

Several cases including murder, and extortion have been registered against Sahil in Bajpe, Barke, Suratkal, Panambur and Hassan police stations.

Cops have seized 1.21 gms of MDMA worth Rs 3,000 from the accused.

Meanwhile, Police officials have arrested two persons for smuggling MDMA in Kasargod.

The arrested accused have been identified as Ramshid B (30), a resident of Parakkalai Kayaldka in Ambalattara and Subair TM (42) of Mishaba Manzil, Third Mile, Ambalattar.

Around 1,880 grams of MDMA were seized from them.
