Uppinangady: Horse dies after bus rams into it, rider critically injured

Uppinangady: A tragic incident on Sunday, December 25 took place at Padamale of Ilanthila village, Belthangady, where a horse died after being struck by a government bus.

In the incident, the horse rider Sachin, a resident of Pelapparu, suffered critical injuries.

As per the reports, Sachin was riding a horse owned by Monu, a resident of Piligoodu near Uppinangady.

At this point in time, a government bus that was travelling towards Belthangady rammed into the horse. Due to the impact, the rider was thrown off the horse, leaving both horse and the rider critically injured.

Sachin was rushed to the nearby hospital.

However, the horse died without responding to the treatment.
