Puttur: One killed in auto-bike collision

Puttur:  A 38-year-old was killed in a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a bike in Mukve on Sunday, December 25.

The deceased has been identified as Veeresh (38), a resident of Kolala village in the Chitradurga district.

The incident occurred when Veeresh and Revaneesh who were returning home from town collided with an auto-rickshaw at Mukwe in Narimogaru village.

Pillion rider Veeresh who was severely injured in the accident was taken to Puttur government hospital but he died on the way.

Bike rider Revaneesh, Auto driver Ganesh Gowda and passenger Gangadhar Naik have been injured in the incident.
